1. CHECK-IN REQUIREMENTS
1.1 Day Trip
Present your Day Trip e-ticket or booking confirmation invoice at the front desk for scanning and validation. Guests must be 18 years of age or older to check-in at Beacon Resort. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. In the interest of security and to prevent fraud, guests may be required to verify their identity at check-in by presenting a valid government-issued photo identification (valid national ID, passport, etc.).
1.2 Overnight Stay
Guests must be 18 years of age or older to check-in at Beacon Resort. In the interest of security and to prevent fraud, guests are required to verify their identity at check-in by presenting a valid government-issued photo identification (valid national ID, passport, etc.).
2. ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE
2.1 Day Trip
a) Check-in: 10:00 | Check-out: 17:00
b) Late check-out after 17:00 requires the purchase of an additional dinner.
2.2 Overnight Stay
a) Check-in: 15:00 | Check-out: 12:00
b) Late check-out after 12:00 will incur an additional charge of RM100 per room, per hour or part of an hour.
c) Resort Reception is open daily from 08:00 to 18:00.
d) If check-in time is later than 18:00 on the day of arrival, please call the Beacon Resort Customer Service Hotline +6013-388 1308 before 15:00 on the same day.
e) The latest check-in time is 23:00 on the day of arrival. Failure to do so will result in your booking being automatically cancelled without a refund. The management reserves the right to automatically release the room after the stated time without prior notice.
3. DEPOSIT & PAYMENT TERMS
a) Rates quoted exclude Sales & Services Tax (SST), which is levied by the Royal Malaysian Customs Department.
b) Rates are quoted in Ringgit Malaysia (RM).
c) Payment must be made before the specified date. Booking will be automatically released if payment is not received after the dateline.
d) Payment can be made by bank transfer as follows:

e) Interest at the rate of 1.5% per month will be charged on all outstanding charges.
f) Non-Malaysian guests are required to pay a Tourism Tax (TTX) of RM10/per night/per room, which is levied by the Royal Malaysian Customs Department.
4. REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT
4.1 Overnight Stay
Upon check-in, guests are required to pay a security deposit of RM200/per room by CASH or any major credit/debit card i.e. VISA or MASTERCARD. On check-out, the deposit will be refunded, subject to a damage inspection of the accommodation and in the unlikely event that the room is deliberately or negligently damaged, the deposit will be retained for all repair and replacement costs.
Please note that for pre-authorisation by credit card for the deposit, the pre-authorisation withholding amount will be released between 7-14 days (working days) for it to be cleared by your credit card issuing bank.
5. DAMAGES
Beacon Resort Sdn. Bhd. reserves the absolute right to take any legal action or proceedings against the Guest in respect of any damage caused to the rooms or the property while on the premises. Beacon Resort Sdn. Bhd. also reserves the absolute right to charge the Guest for the said damage caused to the rooms or the property without any prior notice and if such cost of damage cannot be fully recovered from the credit/debit card, Beacon Resort Sdn. Bhd. shall take legal action against the Guest without prior notice.
6. CANCELLATION & MODIFICATION POLICY
6.1 Day Trip
6.1.1 Booking Date Changes & Amendments
Any request for a change or amendment to a confirmed booking is subject to the following conditions:
a) Changes to the date of booking (rescheduling) or to the number of pax, the booking party must notify Beacon Resort by email at least fourteen (14) days prior to the arrival date.
b) The amount of the rescheduled/amended booking must be equal to or greater than the amount of the original booking.
c) Rescheduling can only be done once. The rescheduled date will not be considered a new booking date. In the event of a cancellation or for any changes made after rescheduling, the original booking date will be used.
d) All changes are subject to current Day Trip prices and availability.
e) A reduction in the number of guests or the amount for which a refund is required will be deemed to be a cancellation.
f) Changes to booking dates are subject to an administration fee of RM50 per occurrence.
g) Changes to any aspect of the original booking, other than changes to the booking date, are subject to an administration fee of RM10 per occurrence.
h) In the event of cancellation after confirmation of a booking, the following cancellation charges will apply:
– i) More than 14 days before the arrival date: 50% of the total amount of the booking
– ii) Less than or equal to 14 days prior to the arrival date: 100% of the total amount of the booking.
– iii) Cancellation is permitted for the entire booking and not for individual components. Eligible refunds will be issued within 14 working days of cancelling the entire booking. The refund will be made to the Booking Party’s name based on the original method of payment.
6.2 Overnight Stay
6.2.1 Individual or Personal Booking Changes and Amendments
Any request for a change or amendment to a confirmed booking is subject to the following conditions:
a) Applicable to individual bookings / fully independent traveller bookings of one (1) to three (3) rooms.
b) Changes to the date of booking (rescheduling) or to the number of rooms or pax, the booking party must notify Beacon Resort by email at least fourteen (14) days prior to the arrival date.
c) The amount of the rescheduled/ amended booking must be equal to or greater than the amount of the original booking.
d) Rescheduling can only be done once. The rescheduled date is not considered a new booking date. In the event of a cancellation or for any changes made after rescheduling, the original booking date will be used.
e) All changes are subject to current room availability, room rates and peak season charges.
f) A reduction in the number of guests or cancellation of any room or amount for which a refund is required shall be deemed to be a cancellation.
g) Changes in booking dates are subject to an administration fee of RM50 per occurrence.
h) Changes to any aspect of the original booking, other than changes to the booking date, are subject to an administration fee of RM10 per occurrence.
i) In the event of cancellation after confirmation of a booking, the following cancellation charges will apply:
– i) More than 14 days before the arrival date: 50% of the total amount of the booking.
– ii) Less than or equal to 14 days prior to the arrival date: 100% of the total amount of the booking.
– iii) Cancellation is permitted for the entire booking and not for individual components. Eligible refunds will be issued within 14 working days of cancelling the entire booking. The refund will be made to the Booking Party’s name based on the original method of payment.
6.2.2 Group or Corporate Booking Date Changes
Any request for a booking date change to a confirmed booking is subject to the following conditions:
a) Applies to bookings of four (4) or more rooms.
b) To change the booking date (reschedule), the booking party must email Beacon Resort to request the changes. The request should be made at least 45 days prior to the arrival date.
c) The amount of the rescheduled/amended booking must be equal to or greater than the amount of the original booking.
d) Rescheduling can only be done once. The rescheduled date is not considered a new booking date. In the event of a cancellation or for any changes made after rescheduling, the original booking date will be used.
e) All changes are subject to current room availability, room rates and peak season charges.
f) Clause 6.2.3 does not apply if the Booking Party has rescheduled the Booking Date.
g) Rescheduling is not permitted within 45 days of the arrival date and will be treated as a cancellation.
h) In the event of cancellation after confirmation of a booking, the following cancellation charges will apply:
– i) More than 45 days before the arrival date: 50% of the total amount of the booking.
– ii) Less than or equal to 45 days prior to the arrival date: 100% of the total amount of the booking.
– iii) Cancellation is permitted for the entire booking and not for individual components. Eligible refunds will be issued within 14 working days of cancelling the entire booking. The refund will be made to the Booking Party’s name based on the original method of payment.
6.2.3 Group or Corporate Booking Changes – Change in Number of Rooms, Pax, Packages or Nights
Any request for a change to a confirmed booking is subject to the following conditions:
a) Applies to bookings of four (4) or more rooms.
b) To change the number of guests, rooms, packages or nights, the booking party must email Beacon Resort to request the changes. The request should be made at least 45 days prior to the arrival date.
c) The total amount of the modified booking must not be less than the deposit paid. The difference will not be refunded if the revised booking is less than the deposit.
d) Changes can only be made once. Clause 6.2.2 shall not apply if the Booking Party has changed the booking.
e) In the event of a cancellation, the original booking date will be used.
f) Modification is not permitted within 45 days of the arrival date and will be treated as a cancellation.
g) In the event of cancellation after confirmation of a booking, the following cancellation charges will apply:
– i) More than 45 days before the arrival date: 50% of the total amount of the booking.
– ii) Less than or equal to 45 days prior to the arrival date: 100% of the total amount of the booking.
– iii) Cancellation is permitted for the entire booking and not for individual components. Eligible refunds will be issued within 14 working days of cancelling the entire booking. The refund will be made to the Booking Party’s name based on the original method of payment.
6.3 The terms for cancelling or amending group or corporate bookings may vary depending on the package selected. If additional terms are provided, they will take precedence over the related terms in sections 6.2.2 and 6.2.3.
7. EARLY DEPARTURE / NO SHOW POLICY
No refunds will be given for early check-out or no-show bookings.
8. NON-SMOKING IN ROOMS AND HALLS
Any guest found in violation of this policy will be charged a cleaning fee of RM250 per stay. The fee will be charged to the guest’s room account accordingly. Payment will be collected at the front desk upon check-out.
9. RESTRICTIONS ON ALCOHOL, DURIAN & MANGOSTEEN
a) Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited in rooms and dining halls.
b) Alcohol may be consumed only under the following conditions:
– When a hall is rented for dinner or karaoke
– When the campfire area (opposite the Lavender Room) is rented
– When a group booking occupies all safari tents
– A corkage fee applies
c) Durian and mangosteen are strictly prohibited in rooms and halls.
Any guest found in violation of this policy will be charged a cleaning fee of RM500 per stay. The fee will be charged to the guest’s room account accordingly. Payment will be collected at the front desk upon check-out.
10. LOST & FOUND POLICY
Beacon Resort accepts no liability for lost, misplaced, stolen or damaged valuables or property. If you discover that you have left something of value behind, please call us immediately on +6013-388 1308 and we will try to assist you in locating your lost item.
11. PARKING AT YOUR OWN RISK
All vehicles must be registered upon check-in. Parking is free for registered guests. All vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk. Beacon Resort accepts no liability or responsibility for any vehicle, occupants or contents while being operated or parked on the resort premises.
12. PROHIBITED ITEMS
Guests are not permitted to bring any of the following items into the premises of Beacon Resort:
a) No outside food is allowed.
b) No pets or livestock.
c) Drones (flying drones is not allowed without permission).
d) Any fireworks, firearms or deadly weapons.
e) Any unprescribed medication, flammable liquids, biohazards or heavy objects.
f) Any electronic/electrical device that may interfere with or obstruct the resort’s power or computer network.
g) Any other items that may directly or indirectly interfere with our resort operations or disrupt the stay of other guests at our resort.
Beacon Resort Sdn. Bhd. reserves the right to refuse entry to any Guest found in possession of any of the prohibited items. Guests shall be solely liable and responsible for any loss, financial or otherwise, and damage that may be caused by such items.
13. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
The owners, management and employees of the Beacon Resort Sdn. Bhd. shall not be liable for, nor shall they accept any responsibility for, any injury, loss or damage howsoever caused to any person or persons, whether arising under the express or implied terms of this agreement, whether direct or indirect and including consequential losses arising out of any of the activities of the Beacon Resort Sdn. Bhd. or in any way whatsoever which does not arise from any negligent act or omission of the owners, management and employees.
14. FORCE MAJEURE
Beacon Resort Sdn. Bhd. shall not be liable to the other party for any delay or failure to perform any of the services specified herein if such delay or failure is caused by fire, act of war, terrorist attack, natural disaster, accident, epidemic, riot, civil commotion, strike, lockout, act of God, force majeure, requisition, interruption of ordinary means of transportation or communication, government regulations or any cause beyond the control of the parties hereto, as the case may be. The aggrieved party shall notify the other party by any means within three (3) weeks after the occurrence of such event and the parties shall as soon as possible decide on the further course of action.
15. CONFIDENTIALITY
The Agent/Corporate/Church/Organiser is not permitted to disclose the terms of this Booking Inquiry or the contents thereof, information relating to accommodation rates or any other information relating to Beacon Resort Sdn. Bhd. which is confidential. The Agent/Corporate/Church/Organiser shall take all reasonable steps to prevent such disclosure.
16. Beacon Resort reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, add or remove any part of these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice.
