1. CHECK-IN REQUIREMENTS
Guests must be 18 years of age or older to check-in at Beacon Resort. In the interest of security and to prevent fraud, guests are required to verify their identity at check-in by presenting a valid government-issued photo identification (valid national ID, passport, etc.).
a) Check-in: 15:00 | Check-out: 12:00
b) Late check-out after 12:00 is subject to an additional charge of RM100/per room/per hour.
c) Resort Reception is open daily from 07:00 to 22:00.
d) Last check-in time is 19:00 on the day of arrival. Failure to do so will result in your booking being automatically cancelled without a refund. The management reserves the right to automatically release the room after the stated time without prior notice.
3. DEPOSIT & PAYMENT TERMS
a) Rates quoted exclude Sales & Services Tax (SST), which is levied by the Royal Malaysian Customs Department.
b) Rates are quoted in Ringgit Malaysia (RM) and are per room per night.
c) Payment must be made before the specified date. Booking will be automatically released if payment is not received after the dateline.
d) Payment can be made by bank transfer as follows:
Bank : Public Bank Malaysia *Please write “Booking Name” in Payment Reference Details.

e) Interest at the rate of 1.5% per month will be charged on all outstanding charges.
f) Non-Malaysian guests are required to pay a Tourism Tax (TTX) of RM10/per night/per room, which is levied by the Royal Malaysian Customs Department.
4. REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT
Upon check-in, guests are required to pay a deposit of RM200/per room by CASH or any major credit card i.e. VISA or MASTERCARD. On check-out, the deposit will be refunded, subject to a damage inspection of the accommodation and in the unlikely event that the room is deliberately or negligently damaged, the deposit will be retained for all repair and replacement costs.
Please note that for pre-authorisation by credit card for the deposit, the pre-authorisation withholding amount will be released between 7-14 days (working days) for it to be cleared by your credit card issuing bank.
Beacon Resort Sdn. Bhd. reserves its absolute rights to take any legal action or proceedings against the Guests in respect of any damage caused to the rooms or the property while on the premises. Beacon Resort Sdn. Bhd. also reserves the absolute right to charge the credit card for the said damages incurred to the rooms or the property without any notice and if such costs of damages cannot be fully recovered from the credit card, Beacon Resort Sdn. Bhd. shall commence legal proceedings against the Guests without prior notice.
6. CANCELLATION POLICY
a) Cancellation Fees:
In the event of cancellation after confirmation of a booking, the following cancellation charges will apply:
– More than 7 days before the arrival date: 50% of the total amount of the reservation.
– Less than or equal to 7 days prior to the arrival date: 100% of the total amount of the reservation.
b) Booking Date Changes & Amendments:
In the event of a change, after the booking has been confirmed, the following administration fees will apply:
– Booking date changes: RM50 per time.
– Changes in the number of guests, room type or any other changes from the original booking: RM10 per time.
In case of proven Covid-positive or any other unforeseen emergency, rescheduling may be granted at the discretion of the Resort Manager and/or Front Office Manager with the following documentation:
i. Covid Positive Rescheduling
– Official test results from a clinic or hospital (PCR or RTK) and
– Screenshot of MySejahtera Covid-19 home isolation or monitoring order.
ii. Emergency Rescheduling
Guests who wish to postpone or change their booking date due to an emergency after the booking has been confirmed must give written notice at least 1 (one) week prior to the arrival date. Failure to do so will result in a last-minute cancellation fee as stated above.
7. EARLY DEPARTURE / NO SHOW POLICY
No refunds will be given for early check-out or no-show bookings.
8. NON-SMOKING POLICY
Beacon Resort Sdn. Bhd. is a strictly non-smoking resort. Any guest found in violation of this policy will be charged a cleaning fee of RM250 per stay. The fee will be charged to the guest’s room account accordingly. Payment will be collected at the Front Desk upon check-out.
9. NO DURIAN AND MANGOSTEEN POLICY
Durian and mangosteen are not allowed. Any guest found in violation of this policy will be charged a cleaning fee of RM250 per stay. The fee will be charged to the guest’s room account accordingly. Payment will be collected at the front desk upon check-out.
10. LOST & FOUND POLICY
Beacon Resort accepts no liability for lost, misplaced, stolen or damaged valuables or belongings. If you discover that you have left something of value behind, please call us immediately on +6013-388 1308 and we will try to assist you in locating your lost item.
11. PARKING AT YOUR OWN RISK
All vehicles must be registered at check-in. Parking is free for registered guest(s). All vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk. Beacon Resort assumes no liability or responsibility for any vehicle, occupants or contents while operated or parked on the resort premises.
12. PROHIBITED ITEMS
Guest(s) are not allowed to bring into the room of Beacon Resort Sdn. Bhd. room as per the following:
a) No pets, livestock.
b) Drones (flying of drones is not allowed without permission).
c) Any fireworks, firearms or lethal weapons.
d) Any unprescribed medication, flammable liquids, biohazards, heavy items.
e) Any electronic/electrical device that may interfere with or obstruct the resort’s computer network/systems.
f) Any other items that may directly or indirectly interfere with our resort operations or disrupt the stay of other guests at our resort.
Beacon Resort Sdn. Bhd. reserves the right to refuse entry to any Guest found in possession of any of the prohibited items. Guests shall be solely liable and responsible for any loss, financial or otherwise, and damage that may be caused by such items.
13. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
The owners, management and employees of the Beacon Resort Sdn. Bhd. shall not be liable for, nor shall they accept any responsibility for, any injury, loss or damage howsoever caused to any person or persons, whether arising under the express or implied terms of this agreement, whether direct or indirect and including consequential losses arising out of any of the activities of the Beacon Resort Sdn. Bhd. or in any way whatsoever which does not arise from any negligent act or omission of the owners, management and employees.
14. FORCE MAJEURE
Beacon Resort Sdn. Bhd. shall not be liable to the other party for any delay or failure to perform any of the services specified herein if such delay or failure is caused by fire, act of war, terrorist attack, natural disaster, accident, epidemic, riot, civil commotion, strike, lockout, act of God, force majeure, requisition, interruption of ordinary means of transportation or communication, government regulations or any cause beyond the control of the parties hereto, as the case may be. The aggrieved party shall notify the other party by any means within three (3) weeks after the occurrence of such event and the parties shall as soon as possible decide on the further course of action.
The Agent/Corporate/Church/Organiser shall not disclose or permit to be disclosed the terms of this Booking Inquiry or the contents thereof, information relating to accommodation rates or any other information relating to Beacon Resort Sdn. Bhd. which is confidential. The Agent/Corporate/Church/Organiser shall take all reasonable steps to prevent such disclosure. The Agent/Corporate/Church/Organiser shall be responsible for any disclosure by any of the foregoing persons.
16. Beacon Resort reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, add or remove any part of these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice.
