Beacon Resort’s Orphanage Charity Camp creates beautiful memories with 628 participants

(Kuala Lumpur, 3rd October) The recent 2024 Orphanage Charity Camp organised by the Beacon Resort has come to a wonderful close. This Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative was organised in partnership with the CCEP Foundation to bring joy and create wonderful memories for orphans from Selangor and Kuala Lumpur. The event hosted 25 orphanage homes with a total of over 628 participants, all of whom enjoyed a joyful and memorable time together.

The charity camp included both a day trip and a 2-day, 1-night overnight experience. Each activity was carefully arranged to ensure that each child and caregiver had a fulfilling and enjoyable time at the Beacon Resort. Activities included natural hot springs, a mini animal farm, jungle trekking, magic shows and clown performances.

The event was also supported by Uncle Kentang’s team who provided ambulances and medical staff who were on standby throughout the two-day event. The success of the Orphanage Charity Camp was also made possible by the generous support of various sponsors and partners, whose generous contributions created unforgettable memories for the children, with a lasting impact.

In the future, Beacon Resort will continue to support the community by creating meaningful experiences for those in need. The resort believes that through similar charitable events, it can inspire positive change and foster a society of compassion, kindness and unity.
